Trinity strives to help respond to hunger in our community in an effort that began more than 45 years ago with a “pantry food shelf” stocked by the congregation. This original pantry has grown into the Care and Share of Erie County network and has become Trinity’s largest outreach program. Currently, TUMC is responsible for staffing the pantry at Care and Share on four of their seven open shifts. Members also donate canned goods, soap, bags, egg cartons, clothing, household goods and financial support for this vital mission.
